Zev Fainsilber – Founder of Southwest Green Group.
Working in diverse settings and in various capacities bringing more than 30 years of experience not only as a caring physician but also as a researcher, private institutions and government agencies consultant, and as a teacher and health educator.
He has been responsible for the establishment and development of successful compliant practices subjected to governmental rules and regulations, and with contracting and billing negotiations with insurance companies. He has been a participant and director of various hospital boards and committees.
Through his years in practice he took care of the medical needs of his patients, coordinated the services provided by specialists and educated the patients – together with their caregivers, and close family members – in healthy habits, nutrition, and prudent environmental practices to benefit their health, their lifestyles, and their surrounding environment.
His knowledge in environmental and sustainability practices and their effect on human health have prompted him to offer his services to help businesses and individuals alike establish green – sustainable practices with the ultimate goal of improving their lifestyles while benefiting their bottom line. In addition he continues to offer training and lectures with an emphasis to educate the public on authentic green practices and combat costly misinformation.
Native of Mexico City, Mexico, he is fluent in Spanish and has been taking advantage of his bilingual abilities in all of his working arenas. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife Diana. He is an active member of the Standards Committee of the Arizona Green Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys traveling, reading, art, music, and volunteering his time in various community projects.
